The minimum educational qualification for appearing the clerk exam is:

  1. Minimum Graduation is required in any stream from a recognized university. For the candidates under reservation category such as SC/ST/PWD/XS, there is a relaxation in age.
  2. Those who are in the final Semester/ year of Graduation may also apply provisionally subject to the condition that, if called for interview/joining, they will have to produce proof of having passed the Graduation Examination.
  3. Candidates should have the ability to write and speak English language fluently.
  4. Proficiency in local language will be considered as an additional advantage.

Age Limit For SBI Clerk Exam 2017

Age of candidates applying for the post of SBI clerk 2017 must be between 20 years to 28 years. For the reserved candidates there is a relaxation in the upper age limit which is shown in the image below.

  • For SC/ST Candidates : 05 years
  • For OBC Candidates : 03 years
  • For PWD (Gen) : 10 years
  • For PWD (SC/ST) : 15 years
  • For PWD (OBC) : 13 years

    Dear sir/madam after completing my 12th std I joined a painting course of 4 years but due to financial problems I was forced to stop that course after one year so then I continued with my graduation in commerce. Now I have completed my graduation in the year 2015. I have all passed out marks sheets of painting course and graduation. And my age is 23 years. Right now I am working with Intelenet Global Services. so am I eligible for the SBI Clerk exam 2017-2018?
